Affiliate disclosure

Follow certain links from here to an operator, open an account and play, and that operator may pay this site a commission. The offer you get is unchanged and nothing is added to what you pay. That commission is the entire income of the guide.

The three things it has no effect on

• The finding. The four checks produce the same answer whoever is paying. A register entry either exists or it does not, and a province either covers an operator or it does not; neither of those has a price.
• The order. Nothing on this site is sorted, so there is no position to sell. That was a design decision before it was a commercial one, and it is the cheapest way to stay honest.
• What gets published. An unfavourable finding about an operator we earn from is published, and the link comes down. If that ever cost more than it was worth, the arrangement is what would go.

Marking

Any page carrying a commercial link says so on the page itself, next to the link and not only here. In the source, those links carry rel="sponsored", which is the machine-readable version of the same statement.

The reason for saying so

Canadian advertising rules require commercial intent to be obvious rather than buried, and that is the floor. The reason above the floor is simpler: a reader weighing whether to trust a method is entitled to know who funds it, and a guide that hides the funding has already answered the question about how much it can be trusted.
